Certificate of Recognition Awards
As The Town Council has not been able to hold its annual Mayor Making ceremony, and with it the opportunity to present the annual Citizenship Awards, The Mayor wishes to acknowledge those individuals and groups that have gone above and beyond in their service and kindness to the people of Todmorden, during this very challenging time facing our community through Covid 19, by introducing the “Mayors Certificate of Recognition Award.”
Any member of the public can nominate an individual or voluntary group that they consider has provided outstanding kindness and service to the People of Todmorden. There is no need to seek the permission of the person being nominated as the Mayor would like the recipient to receive letter of thanks and a “Certificate of Recognition” signed by the Mayor , as a surprise.
Simply fill in the nomination form and return it by email to townclerk@todmorden-tc.gov.uk, when it will then be given due consideration by the Mayor. The proposer will be advised of the outcome.
