COVID-19
Continued Council Operations
Todmorden Town Council offices are temporarily closed until the Government’s Covid-19 restrictions are relaxed, however the work of the Council continues. You can read more about how we are maintaining a democratic function and how to contact our Officers in the PDF document below.
Covid-19 Fund
We have set up a Covid-19 fund to help any group or organisation that is helping Todmorden residents deal with immediate issues caused by the Covid 19 crisis. Support so far includes a £500 donation to the Cornholme Food Bank. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
Grant Applications
We continue to accept and consider grant applications. Please see our newly revised application forms and grant policy here.
Community Skip Hosting
On 4 June 2020 we published a press release announcing that we had made £7,500 available to pay for skip hire and invited residents living on specified streets within the town to help us roll out this initiative by agreeing to host a skip. We are delighted to report that the community skip hosting scheme saw 22 skips placed throughout the Town for the benefit of the community whilst the Eastwood HWRC was closed. Now that the HWRC has re-opened the community scheme is currently withdrawn.
