Todmorden Town Council’s Annual Meeting, also known as the Mayor Making ceremony, will take place this Saturday.
This important event, held every May, marks the start of the new municipal and council year. During the meeting, we will determine committee memberships and elect our new Town Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
We will also extend our gratitude to the outgoing Town Mayor and Deputy Mayor for their dedicated service over the past year.
Additionally, we will be presenting the Service to Todmorden Awards to this year’s winners:

🏆 Service to Todmorden Individual Award: Helen Clarkson
The meeting is open to the public, so why not come and celebrate with us as we honour these deserving recipients and welcome our new Mayor.
Public attendees should arrive in time for an 11:30am prompt start. Please use the Halifax Road entrance for level access to the Chamber.
