The Cornholme Community Day will celebrate all the good things that are going on in Cornholme, and offer a few exciting new things to try out! Happening across The Old Library, St Michaels Church, and Vale Community Garden, there is lots on offer, including:

  • A Willow Weaving Workshop: Making Pea Climbers* with Sofie Corfield: Come and learn some simple willow weaving techniques to create a pea climber. They can be used in the garden in an ornamental way but also to grow peas and beans. If you don’t have a garden donate yours to Cornholme’s community growing projects. Please book this workshop using this link.

  • A Natural Inks Creative Workshop* with Sally Barker: this workshop is a celebration of the natural world – we will print, draw and paint on paper, using beautiful natural inks and materials gathered from the garden around us. Did you know you can make inks from onion skins, red cabbage, and turmeric to name just a few? Please book this workshop using this link.
